Millie came to us in 2022 with what appeared to be a spinal injury, but she was so severely matted, it was difficult to tell. Her mats were actually creating nerve damage, causing her to drag her rear legs and be unable to control her potty needs. Now that she has received proper care and had time to health is doing much better. She will, however, most likely always dribble and need help a couple of times a day to fully eliminate. She is fully mobile and active but tends to hop with her back legs and is not able to wag her tail. She is currently enjoying residing with the sanctuary chihuahuas. Millie has a very sweet disposition and doesn't let any disability slow her down. She is social, playful, and loves to sneak in lots of kisses. She has not been tested with kids but has shown no signs of sensitivity or intolerance. She loves everyone. All she needs is someone willing to accommodate her needs, and she returns the kindness with abundant joy and love.
