Adonis is an eye catcher for sure! Some people are initially hesitant to approach him because he seems "scary" or "intimidating," but those who take the time to get to know him discover a gentle and caring soul. He is a big-hearted dog that sometimes forgets just how large he is. Adonis loves lounging in the yard, soaking up the sun, and playfully chasing the water hose. When it's hot out, he loves a dip in the pool. He is a good boy at bath time and does well on a leash. Adonis is eager to please, and he loves treats, which makes training fun for him. He enjoys playing with his best friend, Rowdy, who often playfully bosses him around. He loves everyone but does seem to have a preference for women. Most of all... Adonis patiently waits for us to come and say hello. And we are rewarded with his love, kisses, and excitement. This gentle giant is so deserving of a home of his own and a second chance at a new life.
