Kiki was rescued by a Good Samaritan from the orchards in Buttonwillow, where she was, most likely, abandoned as a very young puppy. She is almost feral and has been a work in progress since she was caught in August, 2021. She loves the company of other dogs but is still very shy around humans. She has opened up to a couple staff and a volunteer and we are still hopeful she will, one day, come around and accept the love we all all have to give her.
